Sustainability Rebates

You can receive a rebate for taking sustainable actions such as planting natives on your verge, looking after your tree and purchasing home composting products.

Receive a rebate of 50% (up to $500) of the total cost of development when you beautify your verge. This includes planting native plants or lawn and adding mulch, soil and compost to your verge.

This rebate helps property owners maintain their Regulated and Significant trees. The rebate covers the following:

• Arborist report, when works are subsequently undertaken on the tree
• Tree Pruning
• Pest and Disease Control

Receive a 50% (up to $40) rebate on the following items that were purchased in the last 12 months:

• Compost bin
• Worm farm
• Bokashi bucket or starter kit
• Compost worms (booster boxes)
