Public Health and Safety
One of the aims of the Environmental Health Unit is to protect and promote the public health of the community.
The area of public health includes mosquito control, head lice, housing (investigation of insanitary conditions), cooling towers, infectious diseases (including body piercing and beauty therapy) and swimming pools.
