Neighbourhood Centres

There are four neighbourhood centres in the City of Marion; Cooinda, Glandore, Mitchell Park and Trott Park, which aim to respond to the health, welfare, social, educational and recreational needs of the community.

The centres offer a wide range of activities to enjoy for people of all ages, including:

  • Computing
  • Literacy and numeracy classes
  • ESL
  • Gardening
  • Craft activities

  • Preventative health programs
  • Support groups
  • Volunteering opportunities
  • Friendship networks

As well as having a huge choice of what to do, you are guaranteed a warm and welcoming environment with great staff, helpful volunteers and good company.

All centres offer facilities such as kitchens, public access computers with internet access, fax and photocopying facilities, and outdoor areas.

Mitchell Park, Trott Park and Glandore also have a safe playground area for children. Meeting rooms and halls are available for private hire and functions. All centres are wheelchair accessible and are heated and airconditioned.
