Warriparinga Ward includes the original village of Marion, which has been revitalised by the Marion Historic Village project to include an historic walking trail and display centre.

It is also home to the Living Kaurna Cultural Centre, an indigenous education venue, which is located in the grounds of Warriparinga wetland.

Southern Expressway Duplication

The $407.5 million duplication of the Southern Expressway aims to deliver an 18.5km multi-lane, two-way expressway between Bedford Park and Old Noarlunga. It is a key part of creating a free-flow north-south corridor and will provide people living in Adelaide’s south with improved access to employment, education, shopping and community facilities.
