Gallery M

Located at the western end of the Marion Cultural Centre, Gallery M is a premium visual arts facility with minimum intrusion of office areas and workspaces.

The overall floor area is well suited for a wide range of exhibition and display options.  Up to four exhibitions can run concurrently utilising large movable screens to sub-divide the gallery space.

A gallery shop occupies an open area adjacent to the gallery space and offers a wide range of original, quality pieces for sale at affordable prices.  All items are hand crafted by local artists.

A general-purpose storage area designed for the care and storage of artworks also forms part of the gallery complex.

The gallery has approximately 66 linear metres of hanging space when all movable walls are utilised, and is fitted with an advanced system of climate control and a specialised lighting and hanging system. The ceiling is 4.1 metres high.

This 'state of the art' facility is the ideal setting for both local and touring art exhibitions, and is available for visual arts exhibitions for groups, individuals or community projects.  The usual exhibition period is approximately four weeks. Public opening hours are seven days a week.
